Bits and pieces of an email sent on 6/07/10

Well hey i got good news for you. I got transferred finally! I am now in a town called Winlock. Its in the Centralia zone. I love it here already. It is like in the middle of no where. Everything is way spread out and its a ghetto place. Those are good areas because people are humble. My are is huge too. I think it takes like forty minutes to drive from top to bottom. So yeah I am in a car now. My comp is Elder Owens. I came out a transfer after him and he is the district leader. I really like him. We just hit it off and get along great. So my address is 796 Byham Rd. Winlock, Wa 98596. We live in a house by ourselves. It is pretty nice to be on our own. I am way excited to be here. We have a few people we are working with too. Owens said that I must have done something right because I came just at the right time to get stuff done. So it should be a great transfer.

this is part of a letter that Payden had sent on 6/14/10

Hey whats up family? So this has been a pretty good week. A lot has happened. I am still trying to get used to the area and stuff but I am loving it. Our area is huge. It is a lot nicer than dinky Firgrove ha ha. I just talked to one of the sisters that took over it and she said that things are going well there though. Anyways so my companion is Elder Owens. He is from Salt Lake. He lives by the U. he is really a great guy. He is really obedient and loves to work hard. We get along great. We try to serve each other and we try to build comp unity and stuff. We do have at least seven investigators right now. We don't really have any of them on date yet unfortunately. One of them came to church yesterday. His name is Phil and he seems really solid. he is just praying about baptism and we are going to put him on date for the 27th this week. We found two new investigators on Thursday, this lady Cindy and her grand daughter justice. They are going through a really rough time and are really interested. I'll tell you more about them in the letter
